Cervical Test

• Cervical Test:
  The test is normally done to check for cancerous growth that might affect the prenancy. The cervix is the opening to the uterus located at the top of the Vagina. The doctor gently scraps the inside of the cervix with a normal or cotton wand and checks it for Sexually Transmitted Diseases like gonorrhea and Chlamydia. The test is not painful but one might experience a slight tingle in that particular region. It is also know as a Pap test.
  
  The infection of Gonorrhea and Chlamydia can also be tested through Urine Tests instead of the cervix culture test. The infections could be dangerous to the health of the mother, baby and the father if not treated on time.
