• Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Carrier Screening
  This is a blood test to determine whether there is presence of a specific gene in the body that is the cause for cystic fibrosis. The child inherits the gene only if both parent are carriers of that particular gene. This disease is specifically associated with people belonging to the ethnic group of Northern European Caucasians.
  
  This disease affect the breathing and digestion of the baby if contracted and thus many medical associations have made it mandatory to have a CF Test done before or during the prenancy.
